I know I’ve mentioned here before that I have so many customers that are contributing recipes and I’ve included a few in past blogs. Now with only a week before Thanksgiving, my goal is to use only “customer recipes” and decide which ones to use since there are only going to be 4 of us for dinner this year. My favorite by far is the replacement for stuffing, thanks to a customer’s recipe and some experimentation, Michela’s Savory Bread Pudding can be done in individual ramekins or as a casserole. Delicious!
And, I have to give a shout-out to a friend who sent us a simply delicious and quick recipe for what, from now on, will be called Jeff’s Stuffed Mushrooms using Killer Garlic morsels. They’ll make a tasty nosh before dinner with our cocktails. I like them mounded high with filling.
Another customer gave me the Parmesan Crusted Butternut Squash using Primo Parmesan morsels crushed to a fine crumb for that kick of flavor, in addition to the Parmesan cheese. This is one of Milt’s favorites and started with a recipe from the Food52 team. The other side dish I’m considering is the Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Toasted Pine Nuts that my marketing person brought me. I love the addition of a little citrus or sprinkling of pomegranate seeds to bring out the flavors, YUM!
Now all I need to do is decide on whether to turkey or not! I do love turkey sandwiches over the long weekend but could also be happy with a lovely rib roast or even a roasted chicken and still have leftover sandwiches for the weekend.
New Stores – And, since we’re so close to shopping for next week, I also want to make sure that you know all the wonderful grocery outlets that are now carrying Margot’s Morsels. Not only are we all over the San Francisco bay area but we have made some inroads across the country, too. Be sure to check them all out, here. We are so excited to expand our reach to even more stores in California and we’ve also added Bend, OR, Atlanta, GA, and Jackson Hole, WY.
And, don’t forget to order your Merry Morsels whether as a corporate gift, for a friend or family or, for yourself…we won’t tell.

I’ll continue to tell you what’s happening in my kitchen and coax my husband, Milt, to guest blog on his baking adventures. If you are in the San Francisco bay area, come to the farmer’s markets in the North Bay Area and look for us. Right now we’re in Mill Valley and Marin Country Mart in Larkspur.
